Icom IC-M506 Transceiver

Icom IC-M506 provides customers with a fully functional VHF fixed installation, a radio with an integrated AIS receiver or a radio with AIS plus NMEA2000 connectivity. M506 is full of various functions, including "last call" recording function, "active noise reduction" technology and Icom's new intuitive menu-driven user interface and large dot matrix display, making it really easy to use.

• AIS receiving function

• Built-in AIS function, can display ship traffic information in real time. (AIS receiving unit and NMEA 2000 are optional accessories).

• NMEA 2000 function

• The plug-and-play NMEA 2000 can be connected with IC-M506 to upload data to the network (AIS receiving unit and NMEA 2000 are optional accessories).

• Last call recording function

• The last call voice recording function will automatically save the last 2 minutes of the last call, and you can replay the received call without missing any incoming calls.

• Intuitive interface operation

• The function menu is intuitive. Provides convenient and quick operation. The dot matrix displays various functions, and you can switch the left and right buttons.

• Level 8 waterproof

• The radio meets the waterproof requirements of marine equipment, with a waterproof level of 8, which means that the hand microphone and the host microphone HM-205B can withstand the placement of 1 meter in water for 60 minutes.
