  • Digital filter

    The built-in digital IF filter can be used in various modes and provides better performance than any filter with analog circuitry. The digital filter can use high cut and low cut frequency variance when operating in SSB/FM/AM mode. With slope tuning, you can eliminate noise with minimal impact on sound quality. In AM mode, high-cut frequencies reduce interference by controlling the IF passband—this is useful for receiving short-wave broadcasts. In CW mode, the WIDTH function is complemented by the center frequency shift, eliminating interference from adjacent signals. The WIDTH function also provides 4 steps of noise reduction in FSK: 250, 500, 1000 and 1500 Hz.
