On June 6, 2019, the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology of China officially issued a 5G commercial license to operators, which also announced that China officially entered the 5G commercial phase. In the future, Chinese operators will expand the construction of base stations for 5G networks, and increase the 5G network test in major cities. In addition, 5G devices such as 5G mobile phones and 5G computers are now online, and everything is only owed to 5G networks.
At present, China's three major telecommunications companies have disclosed the list of the first 5G cities, each of which will cover 40 cities, of which China Mobile and China Unicom will cover 4 municipalities and 27 provincial capitals, and other cities like Shenzhen, Dalian, Qingdao and Ningbo. Xiamen, Xiong'an, Zhangjiakou, Suzhou and Wenzhou will also be covered. Among them, China Mobile has clearly stated that it will provide 5G services to more than 40 cities by September, and will open 5G services without changing the card.
