Moroccan Ministry Of Health Responds To Corona Virus Disease By Launching Allô SAMU 141 Communication Tool

The Moroccan Ministry of Health has strengthened its communication and information tools on Corona Virus Disease by launching a series of "Allô SAMU 141" dedicated to emergency medical assistance.

In a press release issued Sunday, the Moroccan Ministry of Health designated the tool as a complement to the "Allo Yakada 080 100 47 47" service, which has been put into use through the Morocco National Public Health Emergency Operations Centre (CNOUSP).

The source added that the launch of the number was intended to ease the pressure on the Allo Yakada service call center, noting that the Allô SAMU 141 service will be targeted specifically at people with respiratory symptoms, fever and cough. Give them advice and suggestions.

The Allo Yakada service will provide information and advice on Corona Virus Disease, traveler advice and procedural information to the public about the disease and the reporting of suspicious cases to healthcare professionals.

Both tools have an automatic call dispatcher to reduce waiting times, and the health team will be cautious to respond 24/7 to citizens' inquiries and guide possible situations depending on the regional specialty center.
