YAESU DR-2X Repeater
YAESU DR-2X supports C4FM digital/conventional FM dual mode and dual receiving function repeater, covering VHF and UHF amateur radio frequency bands. Through the AMS function DR-2X mixed use of conventional FM mode communication and C4FM digital mode for communication.
C4FM digital mode provides perfect audio quality
Compared with other digital modes, C4FM modulation mode has better bit error rate (BER) characteristics to ensure perfect voice quality during communication. Using C4FM digital high-definition voice technology with 12.5kHz bandwidth, perfect transmission of high-quality voice communication.
AMS makes conventional FM and digital FM friendly coexistence (automatic mode selection)
System integration enables all users, including users in different modes, to communicate with each other. AMS makes it possible to integrate all systems. AMS automatically recognizes C4FM digital signal or regular FM signal, and then DR-2X converts the recognized signal into the current communication mode for transmission.
Flexible dual receiving function
The unique real-time dual-receiving relay-DR-2X can allocate an extra for relay administrators to control the relay, transmit emergency signals, or specify a second uplink frequency. The relay manager can also allocate the downlink frequency independently according to the uplink frequency.
Internet-based relay link system (IMRS), extended signal coverage in a large area (optional)
The Internet-based Relay Link System (IMRS) allows relays to connect multiple relays via LAN or WAN. Based on the inherent stability shortcomings of WAN connections, such as the Internet, the new DR-2X mixes multiple forms of network environments to make the connection between relays more direct and ensure the quality of digital communication. The numeric group ID can be used to control relay activation.
